Welcome to CoModel (hereinafter referred to as "this App," "we," or "CoModel"). These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CoModel regarding your download, installation, and use of the CoModel mobile application (iOS version) and related AI-assisted services (hereinafter referred to as "this Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. By clicking "Agree," logging in with your Apple ID, or starting to use this Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all provisions of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not log in or use this Service.
1. User Account (Apple ID Login)
1.1 Apple ID Login: CoModel only supports login using your Apple ID account. When you first log in via Apple ID, the system will automatically create an account corresponding to this Service for you. You understand and agree that your login status and identity verification are supported by Apple Inc., and we only receive necessary information (such as email and name) provided by Apple to establish your local account.
1.2 Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your Apple ID account credentials. Since the security of your Apple ID is a shared responsibility between you and Apple, CoModel shall not be liable for any losses resulting from your disclosure of your Apple ID password or unauthorized use of your Apple ID by others. If you need to log out, please use the "Settings – Log Out" function within the App.
2. User Content and AI-Generated Content Guidelines
2.1 User Input: As a tool-based application that interfaces with AI large language models, you may input text content (hereinafter referred to as "User Input") into this App to obtain AI-generated responses.
2.2 Prohibited Sensitive Content: You undertake that you shall not upload, input, or include any content that is illegal, violent, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, infringing upon others' privacy, or in violation of the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China or Apple App Store policies. We reserve the right to conduct technical review of User Input, refuse to process violating requests, and may report serious violations to relevant authorities.
2.3 AI-Generated Content: The AI-generated content (including but not limited to text, code, analysis results, etc.) obtained through your use of this Service is for reference and auxiliary decision-making purposes only. You are solely responsible for identifying, evaluating, and verifying the generated content, and bear full responsibility for its subsequent use. CoModel makes no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or legality of the generated content.
2.4 User Responsibility: You bear full responsibility for your User Input and any derivative content generated therefrom. If CoModel or any third party suffers losses due to your violation of these Terms, you shall be liable for full compensation.
3. Local Data Storage and Privacy Protection
3.1 Local Storage Principle: CoModel adheres to a privacy-first design philosophy. All your personal usage data, including API Key, usage records, chat history, statistics preferences, etc., are stored locally on your own device (i.e., within your iPhone or iPad's internal storage). We do not upload this data to CoModel's servers, nor do we proactively collect, store, or analyze your personal usage data.
3.2 No Cloud Sync: Your data will not be synchronized via iCloud or other cloud services (unless you have manually enabled a full device backup). If you change devices, uninstall and reinstall the App, or clear App data, the locally stored data cannot be recovered. We recommend that you back up important information on your own.
3.3 API Key Security: When using CoModel, you may need to provide API Keys from third-party AI service providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). Such API Keys are stored locally on your device and are used solely for the purpose of making requests to third-party AI interfaces within this App. CoModel will not read, store, or use your API Keys for any other purposes.
3.4 Account Information and Content Not Uploaded: Your account information (such as identifiers associated with your Apple ID) and all content generated during your use of this App (including User Input and AI-generated content) will not be uploaded to CoModel's servers or any other third-party location through this App. Specifically:
- We do not collect or remotely store your account information.
- User Input is only sent directly to the API endpoints of the third-party AI service providers you have configured (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek, etc.) when you proactively initiate a request, for the purpose of generating a response. This data transmission is necessary to realize the core functionality of this App.
- Except as described above, no content will be uploaded to any other location by this App in any manner.
3.5 Data Deletion: When you use the "Settings – Clear Local Data" function within the App or manually uninstall the App, all CoModel-related local data stored on your device will be removed. We cannot remotely delete this data, and we ask that you clean it up yourself before transferring or servicing your device.
4. Free vs. Paid (Pro) Membership Benefits
You may choose to use this App as a Free member indefinitely, or upgrade to a Paid member to obtain full features. The specific benefit differences are as follows:

5. Paid Subscriptions and One-Time Purchases
5.1 Subscription Plans: We offer automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription plans ("Pro Members"). Upon upgrading to Pro, you will enjoy all Pro member benefits as listed in the table in Section 4 (including unlimited character input, access to up to 6 models concurrently, full date range for statistics, etc.).
5.2 One-Time Purchases: In addition to subscriptions, CoModel may also offer one-time paid items (e.g., specific feature packs, single-use access to advanced models, etc.). One-time purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
5.3 Cancellation and Renewal:
- Subscriptions will automatically renew. You may cancel your subscription manually through your Apple ID account settings ("Settings – Apple ID – Subscriptions") at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. After cancellation, you will still enjoy Pro member benefits during the current period, and your account will automatically downgrade to Free upon expiration.
- If you choose to delete the App or cancel your account, please ensure you cancel your subscription simultaneously; otherwise, charges will still be processed through Apple's payment channel.
5.4 Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust subscription prices. In case of changes, we will notify you in advance via in-app notification or email. Continued use of this Service after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 CoModel Ownership: The App name "CoModel," Logo, visual design, icons, interface layout, source code, and related trademarks are the exclusive property of CoModel or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws including copyright and trademark law.
6.2 Rights Reserved: You may not copy, imitate, distribute, or commercially exploit CoModel content without our prior written consent.
7. User Feedback
If you provide CoModel with any opinions, suggestions, improvement plans, or ideas regarding this Service (hereinafter referred to as "Feedback"), you agree that we may freely use, implement, and commercialize such Feedback without any compensation or attribution to you.
8. Promotions, Contests, and Sweepstakes
We may from time to time run promotions, contests, or sweepstakes (collectively, "Promotional Activities"). Each Promotional Activity will have its own separate rules, which will serve as a supplement to these Terms. In the event of any conflict, the Promotional Activity rules shall prevail.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
9.1 AI Services Provided "As Is": Responses generated by AI large language models may contain factual errors, biases, or content that is not applicable to your specific scenario. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred by you as a result of relying on generated content.
9.2 Risk of Data Loss: Since your data is stored entirely locally, we strongly recommend that you regularly back up important content. CoModel assumes no responsibility for recovery or compensation for local data loss due to device damage, loss, factory reset, App uninstallation, or any other reason.
9.3 Third-Party API Services: This App invokes third-party AI service providers via the API Keys you configure. We make no warranties regarding the availability, security, data privacy practices, or legality of generated content of such third-party services, and bear no related liability. You should read and agree to the terms of third-party service providers on your own.
9.4 Service Interruptions: We shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by AI service provider failures, cyberattacks, policy requirements, or other force majeure events.
9.5 Cap on Liability: In no event shall CoModel's total liability to you exceed the total amount of subscription fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent People's Court in the jurisdiction where CoModel's operator is located.
11. Amendment of Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes (e.g., those affecting your charges or core rights) will be notified to you via in-app pop-up or the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of this Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
